The name of this restaurant caught my attention. I like and I love dragons 🐉 ♥️ in general. I wanted to give this a try based on the dragon reference.
There was no one in the restaurant when we walked in and it gave an appearance that no one pays attention to this place. However, we found out that their pay system was down and that they were only taking orders through their app on online.
We were about to go online and order and low and behold they were back online. Of course, that made all the difference in the world to order our food.
We ordered our food ... wonton soup, Singapore noodles, sweet and sour fish. 😋 They have a large selection and options to choose from.
However, there's a feel of a mom and pop shop, small restaurant in a plaza, little or tiny seating area and drinks come in cans or bottled water. Hardly any decorations.
We gave it a try and that's all that matters. We did enjoy the food and its fairly good.
Happy eating 😋
I ordered through GrubHub but they use their own drivers (which I didn't know) and they were so fast! The food was super fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken with string beans and the spicy fried mushrooms, both are very tasty. Highly recommend!
Great customer service and support!
I highly recommend, especially after a round of Disc of Golf.
Btw i finished my entire compoW chicken plate, super great!
This parking plaza is so tiny. The area is also sketchy. Street parking is metered along the side street but free along El Cajon Blvd.
We went with the basic standard safe dishes and ordered salt and pepper tofu ($10), salt and pepper chicken wings ($13), and orange chicken with rice ($13.50).
The tofu was lightly breaded and deep fried with soft crispy shell and soft interior. Had chili garlic and scallion toppings that gave it a kick. The salt and pepper wings were jumbo and very crispy with all the flavors. Orange chicken was also well made. Had the tangy sauce.
I think this is one of the better Chinese restaurants that I’ve been to based on these three dishes. It was hot, made to order and fresh. Clean, had seating, it’s just the parking lot that needs a reserved space for pick up.
Fantastic experience at this Chinese takeout spot! The Eggplant 🍆 Tofu was a standout dish, cooked to perfection with a delightful blend of flavors. The General Tso's chicken was reliably good, and the spicy dragon wings were a definite hit—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. Overall, great food and a definite recommendation!
Great Chinese food! Their tagline is “healthy Chinese food” and I think the quality is definitely higher than your typical Chinese takeout restaurant. I ate chicken fried rice in the restaurant and was served very quickly. Yum :)
WOW. the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Boyfriend and I got the sesame and orange chicken with two spring rolls. Normally with Chinese food I don’t ever eat the big pieces of chicken and this chicken was spectacular!! Crunchy with good flavor. Not one tough or chewy piece of chicken. Big portions.
We ordered the appetizer sampler, spicy honey shrimp, Kung pao chicken & orange chicken. The appetizer was missing the tempura shrimp, which was the reason we ordered the sampler…so that was frustrating. Everything was ok, but Panda Express is more flavorful. We were visiting the area & wanted to try something quick & comparable to Panda Express but different. We wish we would have just gone with Panda…it is much better.
